Stephen A Smith believes that the loss of Patrick Beverley will be huge for the LA Clippers. The Clippers recently traded the veteran guard to the Memphis Grizzlies in exchange for Eric Bledsoe.
Beverley was a strong defensive presence for the Clippers in the four years he played in LA, especially in the postseason.
On the other hand, Bledsoe is a great addition for the regular season, however his playoff record seems to be problematic, at least during his time with the Milwaukee Bucks.
During his NBA career, Bledsoe averaged 14 points, 4.7 assists and 3.4 rebounds in 702 games of his career. On the other hand, Beverley averages 8.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 468 NBA games.
