Danny Green talked about the attempt of Dwight Howard to convince him to sign with the Los Angeles Lakers and return to the team after one year.
Green noted he received interest from several teams, but it was Howard (Lakers) and George Hill (Milwaukee Bucks) the two players that did their best to recruit him.
“Danny Green said Dwight Howard and George Hill tried to get him to L.A. and Milwaukee respectively. Also mentioned Brooklyn, Chicago, Cleveland, Golden State and Charlotte as showing some interest,” Rich Hofmann reports.
Green and Howard were teammates in the Lakers during the 2020 championship run. While Howard returned to the team this offseason, Green decided to re-sign with the Philadelphia 76ers (two years, $20M).
