Brooklyn Nets veteran Blake Griffin opened up about the new-look Lakers, but was not worried about their additions.
Griffin noted the fact that the Lakers (and other teams, like the Miami Heat) sign NBA superstars doesn’t mean it will lead them to the championship.
“You look at it but at the end of the day, things on paper, it’s tough to say. I’ve been in situations where a team stacks up and it doesn’t work out,” Griffin said, via Kristian Winfield of New York Daily News.
Griffin re-signed with the Nets and will remain with Brooklyn for another season. Meanwhile, the Nets want to go all the way next season, hoping to have the Big-3 of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and James Harden fully healthy on the floor.
