Marc Gasol, who has just played his final game for Spain, which was a quarter-final loss to Team USA, intends to complete his contract with the Los Angeles Lakers.

NBA insider Brian Windhorst reports that the 36-year-old center confirmed postgame that he will finish out his contract with the Lakers.

Gasol, who is set to play his 13th season in the NBA, averaged 5 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists this past season for Los Angeles.

The Spaniard penned a two-year deal with the Lakers in late 2020 before the start of the season. He will earn $2.6 million the coming season.
