The Spaniards made a better start to the game and led by as many as 11 points in the contest (40-29).
The Americans came back, though, and went on a 9-34 run to take a 16-point lead (49-65).
Spain turned things around and cut the deficit to four (65-69).
Team USA stood tall, though, and made clutch shots in the fourth quater to seal the deal.

Team USA will face Argentina or Australia in the semi-finals. Meanwhile, Slovenia also advanced to the semi-finals earlier today.
