According to Jordan Schultz of ESPN, the Los Angeles Lakers are “very interested” in the prospect of signing veteran forward Carmelo Anthony. The 37-year-old unrestricted free agent has been linked to the Lakers this offseason and the possibility of a signing is becoming more likely. Melo hit a career-best 40.9% from deep last season for the Portland Trail Blazers.
