As the curtain of the regular season has finally dropped for the Los Angeles Lakers, Carmelo Anthony is only one of the team’s veteran players that is facing a huge question mark entering the offseason.

The future hall of famer is certainly having his personal thoughts moving forward – if he’ll still continue the hunt towards that elusive ring or finally hang his basketball shoes and walk off for the greater good.

Yet when he was asked on Monday regarding what he looks for in the next chapter of his career, Anthony only provided insightful thoughts that are worthy enough to be noted.

Anthony still has some gas left in his tank to contribute and mentor a title contender, but his thankfulness and contentment to settle this time for a playing opportunity are things to behold.

At the end of the day, the 37-year-old will go down as one of the game’s most premiere players. With or without an NBA title in his resume, he’ll remain iconic with what he contributed towards the game.
