Golden State Warriors were among the teams that showed interest in entering negotiations for the Philadelphia 76ers All-Star guard/forward Ben Simmons.

According to Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Warriors rejected a proposal that included James Wiseman, Andrew Wiggins, the 7th and 14th selections of the 2021 NBA Draft as well as future draft compensation for Ben Simmons.

The Sixers are hoping to receive a ‘harden-esque’ package for Simmons, whose value has been dropped due to his performances in the past postseason.

The Warriors are seeking to improve the current roster, hoping for a return to the upper echelon of the NBA. Obviously, the ‘Dubs’ do not believe that Ben Simmons could be a part of their re-tooling plan this offseason.

The Sixers seem desperate to find a trade partner for Simmons, however they have not received an offer anywhere near to their asking price so far.
