Phoenix Suns will add another shooter to their squad after agreeing to a trade that includes Nets’ shooting guard Landry Shamet in exchange for the 29th overall pick and Jevon Carter, as reported by Adrian Wojnarowski.

A first-round pick of the Philadelphia 76ers in 2018, Shamet gives the Phoenix Suns some more depth out on the perimeter behind Devin Booker. He averaged 9.3 points on 39% shooting from three-point range for Brooklyn a season ago.

In return, the Nets are picking a late first round pick to go with the 27th overall selection in the 2021 NBA Draft. On the other hand, Carter averaged 4.1 points, 1.2 assists and 1.5 rebounds in the 60 games he suited up the past season.

We can expect more movement from the Nets and the Suns once the 2021 NBA Draft kicks off Thursday evening in New York City.
