Yet another name surfaced on the list of reported trade targets for the Los Angeles Lakers. According to Ian Begley of SNY, the Lakers as well as the Mavericks are interested in trading for the Nets guard Landry Shamet ahead of this year’s NBA Draft, which will take place tomorrow.
Begley reports that in most trade scenarios the Nets expect to get a first round draft pick from the other team. The Lakers have the 22nd pick while the Mavs do not have first round picks in this year’s NBA Draft.
This past season, Shamet averaged 9.3 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists per for Brooklyn.
