Luka Doncic had a remarkable game in Saitama leading Slovenia to its first-ever victory in an Olympic Tournament as the Dallas Mavericks’ superstar decimated Argentina.

Doncic finished with a monster game of 48 points, 11 rebounds and five assists, making his Olympic debut a day to remember.

Doncic’s 48 piece is the most points scored in a game in the last 33 years. At the same time, the Slovenian wonderkid tied the record for the second-best scoring performance of all-time in Olympics.

Oscar Schmidt from Brazil holds the record for most-points in an Olympic Tournament game with 55 against Spain in the 1988 Olympics in Seoul.
