Juancho Hernangomez will not be in the lineup of Spain for the Olympic Games, due to a shoulder injury.
Hernangomez was diagnosed with a Grade 4-5 acromioclavicular dislocation in his left shoulder and has been ruled out for the tournament.
The power forward of the Minnesota Timberwolves was in the starting lineup during the preparation game against France on Thursday.
Spain head coach Sergio Scariolo will now need to select the replacement of Hernangomez, who was expected to be a key player in the roster.
