Chris Paul and the Phoenix Suns took the upper hand in the series with the Denver Nuggets after their 105-122 win in Game 1.
Paul went for 21 points and 11 assists, as four Suns players scored 20+ points in the contest. On the other hand, Nikola Jokic led Denver with 22 points and nine rebounds.
After a hard-fought battle in the first half (58-57), the Suns took over and outscored the Nuggets 47-65 in the second half to cruise to the win.
Game 2 between the two sides is on Wednesday night, with Phoenix having the home-court advantage.
