Stephen A Smith said the Phoenix Suns could be on their way to the second round if Lakers’ Anthony Davis is unavailable for the next games of the first round series.

Davis is suffering from a groin injury that kept him out of the second half of Sunday’s Lakers loss to Phoenix. The Lakers’ superstar went to the ground after missing a layup and immediately grabbed his left leg while on the ground.

“Without Anthony Davis, (James) doesn’t have a reliable, dependable weapon to finish for him while he’s trying to control pace.

It’s a problem. I’m going to tell you right now unless Anthony Davis gets healthy. The Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James specifically will be going home for the first round.”
