The Philadelphia 76ers took a commanding lead in the first round series against the Washington Wizards as they crushed their opponents in Game 3 by 29 points (132-103).

Joel Embiid was the top scorer for the winners with 36 points in just 28 minutes of play. Being the star of the opposing team, the MVP candidate received boos from the fans in Washington.

According to Embiid, he enjoyed the boos and would have liked more of them as it fuels him on road games. “I wanted to hear more boos because it gets me going, I like it…I just love playing on the road, I love playing up to the boos and the fans talking trash,” the Cameroonian center said, per Kyle Neubeck.

The Sixers could sweep the series against Washington with a win in Game 4.
