Cory Higgins was the hero of the moment during the EuroLeague Final-4 semifinal as he hit the winning shot that sent FC Barcelona to the championship game.
After the game, Higgins talked on the play and how basketball is strange as Olimpia Milano missed a wide open shot before Higgins’ jumper seal the game.

“You just have to think about getting the best possible shot you can. And the only thing I was thinking about is get to a spot, raise up and shoot it. I got to my spot. Thankfully it went in for us.
I keep saying that basketball is a funny sport,” Higgins continued. “They had a wide-open three to almost seal the game. It doesn’t go, and we get a contested shot that goes in. It’s a make or miss game. Thankfully it went in for us today.”
Higgins and Barcelona will face Anadolu Efes, who prevailed over CSKA earlier today, in the championship game, which will signal of another amazing season for EuroLeague.
