Anthony Davis won his first NBA championship with the Los Angeles Lakers last year. The former number one draft pick feels like he no longer needs to prove anything to anyone. He is just focused on winning more rings.
“I have nothing to prove to anyone,” he said, per Kyle Goon of Los Angeles Daily News. “I don’t think I have anything to prove to myself; only being another champion. That’s really it. I want to be able to win multiple championships; this is another opportunity for me to do so.”
The Lakers begin their first round series against the Suns later today as they launch their bid of repeating as NBA champions.
