Charles Barkley didn’t like the decision of the NBA to not suspend LeBron James after violating the health and safety protocols of the NBA.
LeBron James attended an un-masked event earlier this week for a tequila that he has a stake in and was seen hanging out with Drake and Michael B. Jordan.
The NBA didn’t suspend James, because ‘the nature of the event didn’t pose a threat to the spread of Covid-19’, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
For his part, Barkley called out the league and said they ‘didn’t have the balls’ to suspend James. In a similar situation, Caris LeVert of the Indiana Pacers was forced to sit out for 10-14 days.
LeBron James will be available for Game 1 between the Lakers and the Suns on Sunday.
