LeBron James says the Lakers are ready for their coming games, no matter what their place in the standings will be.

With one game left in the regular season, the Lakers (41-30) could finish either sixth (direct qualification for the playoffs) or seventh (play-in tournament).

“Let the chips fall where they may. We’re ready to go,” LeBron James said, via Ryan Ward of Lakers Nation.

If the Lakers defeat the New Orleans Pelicans and the Portland Trail Blazers (41-30) lose to the Denver Nuggets, then the Lakers will be sixth. Otherwise, Portland will earn the sixth spot and the defending champions will compete in the play-in tournament.
