The New York Knicks suffered an overtime loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. The reigning NBA champions won the game by two points, 101-99. Knicks’ star Julius Randle took responsibility for the loss.
“I had a chance to finish the job and I didn’t finish the job…. I’m looking at myself…. Put it on me,” he said postgame, per Ian Begley.
The loss pushed the Knicks down to number six in the Eastern Conference. They share the same record (38-31) with the two teams sitting just above them.
