The great Pistol Pete Maravich will always be remembered as a one of a kind player. Former All-Star Gilbert Arenas recently had high praise for Maravich’s creativity, saying that Pete did things on the court that no one’s duplicated since.

“He had no reference for this creativity, he just did it. There was nobody in front of him to copy, he just created and it still hasn’t been done. Some of the passes we’ve seen him do, like the shoulder passes, actually hasn’t been duplicated.”
