Markieff Morris is not concerned about the possibility of the Lakers competing in the play-in tournament to enter the playoffs.
Morris is worried about the Lakers being fully healthy in the final games of the regular season and said he doesn’t think about the play-in.
“I think I said before we’re not thinking about the damn play-in game. If it happens, it happens,” Morris told reporters, via Ryan Ward of Lakers Nation.
Morris and the Lakers are currently tied with the Blazers for sixth in the West, at 37-29. The two teams will face each other on Friday, with the winner taking the upper hand in the battle to avoid the play-in tournament.
