Shavon Shields had a career night in the EuroLeague and helped Armani Milano return to the Final Four for the first time in 29 years.

Shields had 34 points (9/12 shooting, 5/6 from beyond the arc, PIR of 41), as Armani edged Bayern Munich (92-89) to win the series (3-2).

The Italians led by as many as 17 in the contest (72-55) and were in front by 12 (91-79), with 78 seconds to go. However, the Bavarians went on a 0-10 run to cut the deficit to two (91-89).

Wade Baldwin had the chance to tie the game for the visitors, but was blocked by Kyle Hines and Shields sealed the deal for the hosts from the free-throw line. Paul Zipser missed the game-tying three-pointer at the buzzer and the Bavarians got eliminated.

Armani Milano will now face FC Barcelona in the first semi-final of the EuroLeague Final Four. The second semi-final will see Anadolu Efes clash with CSKA Moscow.
