Golden State Warriors continued their resurgence in the Western Conference playoff race, claiming the victory over the Denver Nuggets thanks to Steph Curry and Draymond Green’s huge game.

Green had an excellent performance as the Warriors’ forward tied a career high with 19 assists on Friday’s 118-97 win over the Denver Nuggets.

His superstar teammate Stephen Curry, who led Golden State in scoring with 32 points vs. Boston, had nothing but praise for Green after the game.

(via Nick Friedell of ESPN):

“The same way you feel like the game slows down and the rim looks huge,” Curry said, “Same way I guess if you’re at the top of the key or you’re making those decisions with the ball in your hands and you get somebody open.

On-time and on-target passes, you kind of just seeing everything a little bit better, a little bit quicker. Execute the angle of the pass, speed of the pass, timing of the pass, whatever it is — he’s a master at it.”

The Warriors went back to .500 (30-30) with the win vs. the Nuggets as they’re hoping to avoid the play-in tournament with 12 games remaining in the regular season campaign.
