Anthony Davis returned to action for the Los Angeles Lakers after being sidelined with a calf injury for 2.5 months. The 28-year-old star forward played 17 minutes and finished the game with 4 points and 4 rebounds.
His teammate Kentavious Caldwell-Pope was asked about what he saw in AD’s return. “Just seeing hime trying to get into his rhythm,” he said.
“I think he missed his first maybe four or five shots I think. It was just him trying to get back into game flow rhythm.
“He looked pretty healthy, 100% which is good for us. But just his minutes was short tonight and I feel like he’s not back to himself yet but once het gets into that rhythm of like getting up and down its’ gonna be good for us. I’m glad he’s back.”
