The Los Angeles Lakers are facing the task of re-integrating their star forward Anthony Davis into the schemes after he missed 2.5 months due to a calf injury.

The 2020 NBA champion played 17 minutes in the first half in his comeback against the Dallas Mavericks. He had 4 points and 4 rebounds during that time.

After the game, head coach Frank Vogel talked about how his team adjusted to AD’s return. “There were two different halves for sure. But anytime you integrate a player of that caliber there’s going to be an adjustment period with the guys around him, not just with him,” he said.

“I feel like we saw that a little bit in the first half. But that’s just part of what we have to go through during this stretch. hopefully, before we know it he’ll be back to playing normal starter minutes and helping us win games.”
