Th Denver Nuggets have officially announced the signing of Austin Rivers to a 10-day contract. The 28-year-old shooting guard started this season with the New York Knicks after joining the team via a sign-and-trade deal this past offseason.

On March 25, he was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder in a three team trade. Three days later Rivers was waived by the Thunder and became a free agent. Denver was looking for a guard after losing Jamal Murray due to a torn ACL in his left knee.

Rivers played 21 regular season games for the Knicks averaging 7.3 points, 2.2 rebounds and 2 assists per game.
