The Los Angeles Lakers earned another win without superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis. According to forward Kyle Kuzma, the team is learning to play together and win games even with their main players being absent. He expects the Lakers to be “scary” once James and Davis come back.

“We got champions on the roster and we got hard hard playing players that really want it,” Kuzma said after the win against the Charlotte Hornets. “I think we’ve done a great job in the past few games of really figuring out how to win games together, figuring out how to play with one another and figuring out how to get wins. That’s what togetherness and being tied together.

“I think during this stretch we’ve been really great defensively not having our voice out there with Bron and someone that just erases mistakes with AD out there. For us to continue to do that without without having those guys out there it’s going to be scary for people when those guys get back. That’s given us confidence.

“I think offensively we’re really been subpar, honestly. We’re just trying to make slide, make strides on that end and just trying to weather the storm. Doing as much as we can. To be four and three on this road trip, that’s a win for us.”
