Alex Caruso played very well on both ends for the Lakers in the 101-93 road win over the Charlotte Hornets.

Caruso had 13 points and six assists, as the Lakers ended their seven-game road trip with a much-needed win.

“AC is a hard-nosed guy. … We need that type of hustle,” Kentavious Caldwell-Pope said about Caruso afterwards, via Ryan Ward of Lakers Nation.

“He’s a hell of a player. He’s a great player on both ends of the court… I love having him as a teammate, when we’re on the floor together defensively, it’s a scary thing,” Lakers newly-acquired big man Andre Drummond added, via Harrison Faigen of Silver Screen and Roll.

Thanks to this win, the Lakers improved to 34-21 and came closer to the fourth-placed Denver Nuggets.
