Denver Nuggets are looking to add more depth to their bench as they are moving towards the end of the regular season.

According to Mike Singer of The Denver Post, Denver has three players in their radar including high-profile veteran sharpshooting guard Austin Rivers.

Rivers, who played 21 games with the Knicks this season, was traded to Oklahoma City at the trade deadline and then waived.

The Nuggets are lacking backcourt depth as they sent Garry Harris and RJ Hampton to the Orlando Magic in the trade for Aaron Gordon.

In addition to Rivers, Denver is looking to other options like Gerald Green and Troy Daniels, Singer reports. With Murray out for the last four games, the Denver’s shallow backcourt rotation was evident.

The Nuggets have the fourth best record in the West, recording eight wins in their last 10 games. With Aaron Gordon in the mix, Mike Malone has a great five-man combination to put on the floor. Now, Denver is looking to bench players to become a legit contending team.
