It seems the talks between Dennis Schroder and the Lakers are far from being complete, according to Bill Oram of The Athletic.
Even though the two sides are willing to extend their collaboration, Schroder and the Lakers are far apart in talks for a new contract.
Schroder, who got traded by the Oklahoma City Thunder, will be a free agent in the offseason, unless he agrees to a new deal with the Lakers.
For their part, the Lakers know they have to offer a very lucrative contract to Schroder to keep him in the squad.
