Kelly Oubre Jr., the guard of the Golden State Warriors, is rumored to be among players that are likely to be moved before the trade deadline.

The Dubs’ head coach Steve Kerr was straight forward with the assessment of the situation surrounding Oubre. “Not an easy position to be in,” he said, per Anthony Slater.

“But this is how it works. This is the NBA. He’s got an expiring deal, plays a position of need. He’s athletic and long. He’s coveted. He’s definitely coveted.”

This season, which is Oubre’s first with the Warriors, he is averaging 15.1 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game. The 25-year-old guard is in the final year of his two-year contract. He is set to earn over $14 million this year.
