With the NBA trade deadline just around the corner, more and more rumors are appearing. Last year’s finalist the Miami Heat is one of the teams that appear frequently in such rumors. According to the team’s center Bam Adebayo, there is more weight than there should be.
“Everybody knows it’s business at the end of the day. I feel like there’s a lot of dudes that are probably scrolling on social media. … There’s probably a lot of extra weight than there should be,” the 23-year-old said, per David Wilson of Miami Herald.
Arguably the biggest name that is linked with the Heat in trade rumors is the Raptors star Kyle Lowry. Another team that is reportedly chasing him is the 76ers.
Miami is currently on a four-game losing streak. With 22 wins and 22 losses, the Heat are currently in the 5th place in the Eastern Conference.
