The Sacramento Kings have made Marvin Bagley III available for a trade, with the Detroit Pistons turning down an offer, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.

The Kings offered Bagley for Pistons rookie Saddiq Bey.

Both the Kings and Bagley are “keen on discovering a corridor toward separation,” notes Haynes.

Bagley, 22, is currently out at least four weeks after suffering a fractured left hand on March 15.

The Pistons have shown no interest in trading away any players from their rookie class, as all four rookies including Bey, Killian Hayes, Isaiah Stewart and Saben Lee are viewed as building blocks for the team’s future, according to James Edwards III of The Athletic.

Bey, 21, is averaging 10.5 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game in 24.2 minutes per game.

He recorded a career-high 30-point game on Feb. 12.
