Lakers players opened up about how the team should deal with the absence of Anthony Davis and LeBron James, who are out with injuries.

According to Montrezl Harrell and Dennis Schroder, the Lakers should improve their ball movement and work on their defense.

“We’ve got to move the ball. We’ve got to play with more pace and on the defensive end we’ve got to be more scrappy. Everybody in this locker room got to step up.

It’s totally opposite now. We have to move the ball, play with more pace … on the defensive end, by more scrappy … shoot more 3’s,” Schroder said, via Lakers Nation.

“We got to guard better,” Harrell noted, via Ryan Ward of Lakers Nation.

After their loss to the Phoenix Suns (94-111), the Lakers dropped to 28-15, but are still third in the West.
