Los Angeles Lakers experienced a heartbreaking loss at the hands of the Atlanta Hawks Saturday, losing LeBron James due to injury in the process.

Markieff Morris explained why the Lakers got ‘trapped’ in this matchup taking a shot to the NBA’s games schedule as they played at 12:30 p.m. local time.

“They set us with a trap game, whatever you want to call it. I don’t care how the NBA feel about it.

“It was a trap game playing 20-year-olds at 12 o’clock in the afternoon. They trapped us. We just couldn’t really find it. Me, personally, I find all my shots were short. I end up making some late in the game, but throughout the game just really can’t get over the hump.”

James is expected to miss plenty of time due to a high ankle sprain. The injury occurred when Hawks’ forward Solomon Hill dove into his leg during a scramble for a loose ball.
