Tristan Thompson will not be available for the Boston Celtics’ game vs. the Utah Jazz, the team announced Tuesday. The veteran big is in the league’s health and safety protocols.

Thompson played for 18 minutes on Monday’s win vs. the Houston Rockets. He had eight points and 13 rebounds to help Boston secure the win.

Romeo Langford is also out due to health and safety protocols. The Celtics are expected to see Daniel Theis play extensive minutes vs. the NBA-leading Utah Jazz.

Thompson is averaging 7.9 points, 8.4 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game in his first season in Boston. The Celtics have won four out of their last five games.
