CJ McCollum is looking to get back in action sooner rather than later, as he could be eligible to play next week, Jason Quick of The Athletic reported.

McCollum has been sidelined since mid-January with a fractured foot. The injury occurred in a matchup against the Atlanta Hawks.

The Blazers’ guard started the 2020/21 season campaign putting up impressive performances. He averaged 26.7 points on 47 percent from the field and 44 percent shooting from deep through the first 13 games of the season.

McCollum fractured his foot for the third time in his career, and he took a careful approach during his rehab, however he is about to ramp up the intensity the next few days.
