Frank Vogel, the head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers, provided an update the status of Marc Gasol and Kostas Antetokounmpo. Both players were out of the Indiana Pacers game due to health and safety protocols.

According to Vogel, both Gasol and Antetokounmpo will miss at least two more games. The reigning NBA champions are set to face the Golden State Warriors and the Minnesota Timberwolves next.

“They’re not with us. The only thing I could say timeline-wise just because we have a game coming up is they won’t be with us for these two games,” Vogel said. “But other than that, they’re just in health and safety protocols. Sort of all I can say.”

Gasol, 36, is averaging 4.8 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2 assists in 20.1 minutes per game this season. Meanwhile, Antetokounmpo appeared in just three games for the Lakers. He is averaging one point and 2.7 rebounds in 6.3 minutes per game.
