Kyle Kuzma was the top scorer for the Los Angeles Lakers in a win over the Indiana Pacers. The 25-year-old forward had 24 points and 13 rebounds in 30 minutes. LeBron James was behind him with 18 points.
After the game, Kuzma talked about his role offensively with Anthony Davis and Marc Gasol being out. “I’m just playing my game, really,” he said.
“I’m taking what’s given to me. I’m not trying to force anything. I’m not trying to just be that scorer or trying to put the ball in the hole every possession.
“When I’m open, I’m shooting it, trying to make a play and just playing off my teammates the best way I can. That’s just where I’m at.”
