The two-time reigning NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo shared his thoughts on LeBron James, his longevity and whether at 36 he’s still the best player in the league.

“For sure, I think he’s one of the best players in the league,” the Milwaukee Bucks star said. “There’s no doubt. He’s a champion. As long as you’re the champion, you’re the best player in the league. I don’t care who’s the MVP. I don’t get who’s the leading scorer of the NBA. If you’re a champion in the best team, I think you’re the best player in the world.

“Before that I think it was Kawhi. Before that it was the person that won the championship. Whoever wins the championship is the best player in the team and the best player in the world in my opinion.”

In his eighteenth season in the league, LeBron is averaging 25.8 points, 8 rebounds and 7.8 assists per game for the Los Angeles Lakers.
