Dennis Schroder shared his thoughts on the struggles the Los Angeles Lakers are dealing with (injuries, Health and Safety protocols).

Schroder said the Lakers should not use their problems as an excuse and have to focus on what they can control.

“We are going to have situations like this. We just got to be ready and have the next-man mentality. Whoever steps on the floor got to compete.

That’s what we can control and that’s what we have to focus on. We can’t focus on nothing else really,” Schroder told reporters, via Eurohoops.net.

Without Anthony Davis in the lineup, the Lakers lost six of their last eight games, ending the first part of the season with a 24-13 record.

In the loss to the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday (120-123), the defending champions were forced to play without four players (Davis, LeBron James, Alex Caruso, Marc Gasol).
