Kyle Kuzma is going through the lowest scoring season so far in his career. With LeBron James and Anthony Davis taking the lion’s share in terms of scoring, the 25-year-old forward has to find other ways to contribute to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Most recently he had a season-high 25 points in loss versus the Sacramento Kings as both James and Davis were absent. After the game, he said he was ready to do what’s needed for the team to win and refused to be called a role player.

“I’m not just a rebounder or a role player,” he said. “But I’ll fill in anywhere the team needs me. That’s just the type of person I am. I want to win games. Wherever the team needs me, they need me. I can still score if needed.”

This season, Kuzma is averaging 11.5 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 25.9 minutes per game.
