The Los Angeles Lakers have showed interest to acquire Mo Bamba, according to Marc Berman of the New York Post.

Mo Bamba is struggling with the Orlando Magic this season, having played in just 12 games, averaging 5.6 points and 4.8 rebounds.

“Bamba is in and out of the rotation, playing in just 12 games this season. Bamba is 22 and the Knicks looked to trade up in that draft to get the former Texas Longhorns star. The Lakers also reportedly have interest,” Berman reports.

With Anthony Davis out for the next two to three weeks (at least), due to a right Achilles strain, the Lakers are search for a big man.

The defending champions have until March 25 to trade for a big man.
