Portland Trail Blazers’ superstar Damian Lillard will participate in the NBA’s 3-point contest on March 7, per Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.

The three-point shootout and the All-Star Skill Challenge will reportedly take place before the NBA All-Star Game, which will take place in Atlanta.

The Slam Dunk Contest is slated for halftime of the game. This will be the third time Damian Lillard takes part in the NBA’s three-point contest.

Lillard had to withdraw from last year’s 3-point competition due to an injury he suffered just before the All-Star weekend.

The Blazers’ superstar has emerged as an MVP candidate this season, leading a short-handed Portland roster to the fourth-seed (17-10) so far.

He’s averaging 29.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 7.7 assists on the season.
