The NBA MVP race is heating up as contenders emerge. One of the top names on the list is the Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, who is averaging 25.6 points, eight rebounds and eight assists per game at the age of 36, while his team is second in the Western Conference. However, sports analyst Skip Bayless sees another player, who, according to him, deserves the MVP more.

It’s Joel Embiid. The Philadelphia 76ers star is having the best season of his career averaging 29.1 points, 11 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game. In addition to his personal success the Sixers are leading the Eastern Conference.

“I’ll take Joel Embiid over LeBron for MVP. When he plays, he’s on another planet. Joel is having a better year than LeBron,” Bayless said on UNDISPUTED.
