The Toronto Raptors are among the teams interested in acquiring two-time All-Star Andre Drummond from the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to Kevin O’Connor of The Ringer.
The Raptors currently sit in ninth place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 10-13.
Adding an experienced center like Drummond could help bolster the Raptors’ chances of making the playoffs for an eighth consecutive season.
Drummond’s name has come up a lot in recent trade rumors, as he is expected to have several suitors if the Cavaliers ultimately end up trading him.
A buyout has also been brought up as a possibility for Drummond.
The 27-year-old will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
In 22 games, Drummond is averaging 18.6 points, 14.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.2 blocks per game.
