LaMelo Ball had another high scoring game as the Charlotte Hornets defeated the Washington Wizards 119-97 for their 11th win of the season. The rookie guard had 19 points, seven rebounds and five assists in 30 minutes of play.

After the game, the Wizards head coach Scott Brooks praised LaMelo for his passing and playmaking. He also admitted to seeing huge potential in the Hornets guard, who according to Brooks, could turn into an All-Star in the near future.

“He’s extremely impressive and his future is extremely bright. He could potentially be an All-Star pretty soon,” Brooks said per Chase Hughes of NBC Sports.

“Extremely high-level passer and play-maker. Loves the game, you can just see it. Outstanding. He was raised the right way on the basketball court with how he plays. Even his brother [Lonzo], it’s the same way, they play to win.”

This season, the youngest of the Ball brothers is averaging 13.8 points, 5.9 rebounds and 6 assists per game. He has recently recorded a career-high 34 points.
