Frank Vogel had high praise for Lakers fan favorite Alex Caruso and his defensive skills.

Vogel, the head coach of the Lakers, called Caruso one of the best players of the defending champions, especially defensively.

“He’s one of our best players. He really, really impacts our defense,” Vogel said about Caruso, via Ryan Ward of Lakers Daily.

Caruso was crucial for the Lakers’ victories over the Boston Celtics and the Atlanta Hawks, with his great defensive plays.

Despite his limited time on the floor, Caruso is averaging 5.6 points (on 50% shooting from beyond the arc), 2.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists.
