Anthony Davis understands the difficulty in winning back-to-back NBA championships, as the Lakers try to repeat this season.
Davis also noted he now has more respect for the Golden State Warriors and their title run from 2015 to 2019.
“Everybody wants to be a champion. That’s the toughest part. Now, as a champion, you come out this year and you really appreciate it … it was tough what they did. That’s very tough to come out and repeat,” Davis said, via NBC Sports.
Davis and the Lakers are one of the favorites to make it to the NBA Finals for a second straight season.
